“Marvelous Melvin” was broken to harness by ourselves in 2006 when he was 4 years old and he just loves pulling visitors or teaching people how to carriage drive around our quiet lanes. Why not start with a ride and then learn to drive the carriage yourself.
Carriage Driving Lessons
We have competed in cone driving also competed very successfully with the Yorkshire Driving Club for many years with Heather winning a championship at the age of 8 with her Grandad's Stallion (Dandy from Our Horse's Farther) Silver Dollar.
2 of our horses Samson & Claremare, pull a living wagon to Appleby Horse Fair every June and have done for most of their lives! Which is a break for them as well as their drivers, a well deserved holiday!
